Our skilled staff are able to install access doors to gain entry to the normally inaccessble areas of ducting for regular inspection and cleaning. Using specialised equipment and chemicals we remove all trace of carbon grease and oil from canopies, filters and ducting. This not only reduces the fire risk but also ensures improved efficiency and B&ES TR19 Compliance.
Many insurance companies and landlords are now insisting that kitchen extraction systems are cleaned to the Building & Engineering Services (B&ES) TR/19 specifications.
TR/19 is a guide to good practice covering the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen extraction systems.
To be compliant with TR/19, kitchen extract ductwork must be classified at one of three levels of grease laden aerosols, low, medium and high. These classifications along with the average daily cooking times provide you with recommended cleaning intervals which can vary from 2 to 12 monthly visits
